Galaxy S24 Series Launch: Samsung May Bring 2 New Chargers Alongside

Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone series will launch on January 17. The upcoming flagship series is said to be bringing numerous upgrades, including artificial intelligence (AI) features. Samsung is looking to introduce a pair of new chargers for these flagship phones, available for individual purchase. Following a trend established in recent years, the South Korean tech giant is unlikely to include a bundled charger with the smartphones in the Galaxy S24 series. This is similar to what Apple has also been doing with its iPhone lineup. WinFuture's Roland Quandt has shared on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, that two upcoming Samsung chargers are currently in development. The post suggests that the first charger is speculated to be the Samsung Charger Duo 50W, potentially incorporating two USB-C ports for rapid wired charging. The second charger is thought to be a revised edition of the company's existing 45W charger. It is being said that the Galaxy S24 series might not be compatible with higher charging speeds. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display("div-gpt-ad-6601185-5"); }); Samsung Charger Duo 50W (2x USB-C wired fast charger) EP-T5020 incoming. and they'll have an updated 45W charger as well, EP-T4511 (old one is EP-T4510) — Roland Quandt (@rquandt) January 4, 2024 According to the report, benchmark results for the Galaxy S24+ (SM-S926B) equipped with the Exynos 2400 SoC have emerged, showing scores closely rivalling those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S928B) running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, after we previously witnessed benchmarks for the Galaxy S24 series with both Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ with 256GB storage are rumoured to maintain the same price as their 2023 counterparts, while the 512GB variants will incur an increased cost. The highest-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to experience a price increase across all configurations, according to a leak in Korean (via Ppomppu). Meanwhile, pre-reservations for the upcoming Galaxy S24 smartphone series have started in India.
